What the Role Entails
As a Commercial Carpet Technician at Double Take, you’ll be responsible for cleaning and maintaining carpets in commercial facilities, offices, schools, and other large-scale properties throughout Utah. The position involves:
- Operating commercial-grade hot water extraction equipment and state-of-the-art truck-mounted systems
- Assessing carpet conditions and identifying stained or damaged areas
- Using specialized cleaning methods appropriate for different carpet types, including commercial carpets, upholstery, rugs, tile, stone, and hardwood floors
- Performing water extraction and emergency cleanup after flooding and fire damage
- Delivering quality results that extend carpet lifespan and improve indoor air quality
- Interacting professionally with customers and co-workers in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Maintaining company vehicles, tools, materials, and supplies
